Description

The 200 hour yoga teacher training course will prepare you to become a confident and inspiring yoga teacher. In our course you will learn meditation, yoga philosophy, mantra chanting, pranayama (breath control), asana (postures), anatomy and physiology, and cleansing techniques. You will learn how to sequence yoga classes, assist and adjust students using props and hands-on techniques. The course is an intensive program, with classes from 8-10 hours per day, but we do allow breaks in between for our healthy yogic meals, ayurvedic tea, and chatting with other students from all over the world. The education which you receive inside the classroom is important, however there are many other benefits of taking our teacher training program. You will be afforded the opportunity to meet with many new people from all over the world, hiking through the beautiful Himalayan mountains, meditating on the Sacred Ganges River, (possibly river rafting depending on season), and touring centuries old temples. Upon completion of the course a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate is issued, permitting you to register as an Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance, a prestigious yoga organization based in the USA.
