The 3Bs School of Music is the vision of an ambitious father, R. Venkatesan, and became the mission of a dedicated daughter, Ahlauyu S. V’Naiud, with the support of her husband C. S. Balasubramaniam, son of the late Music Director Shankar (Shankar-Ganesh). It is a dream-come-true for all of them. True to its motto ‘Good Music Good Life’; the school’s mission is to increase the awareness of Western Classical Music in Madras and throughout India. The incorporation of training in music from pre-school to post-secondary education is common world-wide since involvement in music is considered a fundamental component of human culture. It is the goal of the 3Bs School of music to emulate this educational ideal here in south India.
