GET UP TO SPEED WITH ACADEMIC SURVIVAL SKILLS ONLINE!
The course is free and open to everyone — whatever your age or level of education. All you need is internet access and a computer, laptop or tablet device.
You can complete the course at any time at your own pace, or study during a three-week moderated period in February (from 1 February to 21 February 2016) or July (dates to be announced).
The modules in Academic Survival Skills Online will help you to:
- 'think like a uni student'
- make sense of uni texts and lectures
- use online libraries for research
- plan and write an academic essay
- understand referencing and academic integrity
You will have four 'Academic Guides' to help you on your journey, and will meet and learn with other like-minded students. All from your own home — wherever in the world you live!
You will earn a Digital Learner's Badge for each course module you complete and a Digital Course Completion Badge if you finish all nine modules.
