History
AERF - A Unique Educational Initiative of Adani Group Adani Group has set up Adani Education and Research Foundation (AERF) to give a special thrust to the Group's educational initiatives. AERF has been registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and also as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. The main object of AERF is to promote education in various branches of knowledge and to establish and manage academic institutions. Shri Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group is the founder Chairman and Dr. Bakul Dholakia is the leading Founder member of AERF. The first unique educational institution promoted by AERF is Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM).
Description
Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management(AIIM) campus will be located on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway near Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India). The construction of physical infrastructure for AIIM has already commenced and it is progressing well. The buildings planned at this stage include auditorium-style class rooms, seminar rooms, faculty & staff offices, syndicate rooms, library, a large auditorium and residential accommodation including kitchen-dining facilities for programme participants. It is expected that the First Phase of Institute Premises will be ready for occupation by August 2009.
