ADVANCED HEALTH + FITNESS SPECIALIST COURSE

Fitness Specialist course is a student -centered program with a clearly defined plan of individual study. Curriculum will be presented in a Learning Activity Packet (LAP) format and will be facilitated by the instructor. The focus of the Theory is to understand the foundations of a Fitness Specialist and wellness promotion for the general population.
The focus of practicum is to apply the techniques of Fitness Specialty. Experience will take place in a gym and physical therapy setting with demonstrations, observations and assessments. Attention will be given to wellness promotion to individuals throughout the life span.
