Course programme

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is organized by the CBSE in India for admission to various under-graduate courses in engineering and architecture. Admission to the prestigious National Institutes of Technology is through this test.

Students opting for B.Tech or B. E. are tested in physics, mathematics and chemistry. The test duration is 3 hours. The maximum marks and the number of questions vary every year like the CAT. (Total marks were 360 in the year 2007 while it was 540 in 2006). However equal weightage is given to all the three sections. Candidates are ranked on an all India basis and also according to their position in state. Thus, they have an All India Rank (AIR) and a state rank(SR).

AIEEE is the most prestigious engineering entrance examination and the students willing to make it to the top notch engineering colleges through AIEEE have to realize that they need to have the right kind of orientation. In AIEEE the emphasis is on fundamental concepts and their application in different situations. This differs significantly from the Board examinations. The questions asked in the AIEEE seek to test the conceptual clarity and the reasoning ability of the students.

AEROSPACE TUTORIALS offers correspondence courses and regular coaching classes for students who are planning to appear for the AIEEE being conducted by the CBSE.
