B.B.M in Transport Management

This program Bachelor of Business Management(B.B.M) intends to present students with a definite and clear understanding of the different functional areas of business and catapults him/her into a career in Management. This program provides the students the opportunity to pursue a career in industry as executives and entrepreneurs. It aims at developing the analytical, decision making and communication skills. The curriculum has been so designed to enable the students to develop a thorough knowledge of the basic concepts and techniques of modern management as well as the ability to practice them. The course intends to develop well- rounded individuals who can emerge not just as managers but effective leaders as well.

Some of the subjects covered in the course include Business Economics, Fundamentals of Accounting, Business Statistics, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Corporate Accounting, Business Law, Law and Practice of Banking, Computer Fundamentals, Income Tax, Project Management and Management Information System. In the final semester, students can opt for any of the following as elective subject: Financial Markets and Services, International Finance, Cost And Financial Analysis, Portfolio Management, Product and Sales Management, Advertising and Media Management, Consumer Behavior, Services Marketing, Exim Trade, International Marketing, International finance, International HRM, Principles and Practices of Life Insurance , Principles and Practice of General Insurance, Actuarial Science and Risk management.

Specialization is offered in major functional areas of business, which include marketing, finance, international business, entrepreneurship, bank management, and transport management and computer application in business.
