Course programme

The college offers a foundation course in commerce viz. B.Com. course. It seeks to equip the students with practical and vocational skills to exploit dynamic opportunities offered by the business environment. The course was restructured by University of Delhi in the year 2006-07 with increased coverage of different dimensions relevant in the contemporary business situations such as E-commerce, Computers application etc. This course prepares the students to take up entry-level jobs in various sectors of trade, commerce and industry. After the completion of the course, a number of specialised professional courses may be pursued.

Duration of the course - Minimum Three Years

Eligibility Requirements:
The University of Delhi has prescribed any of the following qualifications with 45% minimum marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination:

1. Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi with pass in 4 subjects (one language and three elective subjects) or an examination recognised as Equivalent thereto.
or
Pre-University Examination (2 Years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian University, recognised by the University of Delhi
or
Intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto (pass in 4 written subjects).
2. Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Passed in five written subjects)
3. General Certificate of Education Examination (G.C.E.) of the United Kingdom with pass in :
(a) At least five subjects at ordinary level ('O' level) and
(b) At least two subjects at advanced level ('A' level)
These two advanced level courses may either be chosen from among the five ordinary level subjects or from outside these group as prescribed by the University of Delhi.

Note : The merit be determined on the basis of one language and three best elective subjects.
