The aim of chemical engineering course is to train students in chemical process engineering and technology compatible to the needs of chemical engineering Industry facing challenges of global competitions. More important is chemical engineering many times deal with hazardous environment and hence this course also deal with such safety aspects.
Course Structure

First two years of the course deal with basic applied science subjects followed by core subjects like Mass Transfer, Reaction Engineering, Process control, Process Design. The students also go through four weeks industrial training at the end of the third year of the course.

Assessment

Student is assessed in the form of class tests conducted by department, work assigned to student in the form of term work and final theory examination conducted by the university
Career Opportunities

Students of chemical engineering course are absorbed in process Industries involving chemical processing, Chemical Process equipment design and chemical production. Students of this course can opt form Basic Chemical engineering research and there also avenues are for higher education

The Department of Chemical Engineering has started in 1983 which offers undergraduate course admitting 30 students, and has approval by AICTE upto 2009.

The department enjoys UNIQUE position of being the only college offering four year DEGREE COURSE in Chemical Engineering in the entire Marathwada Region, imparting State-Of-the-Art knowledge, by arranging lecture talks of eminent personalities. Our Faculty student is ratio 1: 14

At the end of 6th semester, there will be 4 to 6 weeks compulsory industrial training as a part of curriculum for getting industrial exposure, even while learning.
