B.E. - Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical Engineering is the application of the laws of Physics governing electricity, magnetism, and light to develop new technologies in helping mankind.

Electrical engineers are involved in the generation, protection, transmission, distribution and application of electrical energy. They are also involved in the field of the electricity that lights our homes, cooks our food and empowers our machinery. They also make very important contributions in telecommunication, television, computer technology, medicine, education, space exploration, defence and other critical sectors of our society and many scientific fields depend on electrical engineers for their design, analysis and effective use.

Engineers who specialize in electrical and electronic engineering are concerned with the design and analysis of controllers, power converters that eventually help in obtaining the desired characteristics of electromechanical systems.

Today, engineering in general and electronics in particular is an international business. Most of the well known companies in the field of electronics operate in all continents. In order to compete in this situation, companies recruit engineers from all around the world. As an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at PSNA, you will work closely with top ranked faculty and gain the fundamental knowledge and theories that govern modern control engineering and power actuator.
