B.F.Sc. - Bachelor of Fisheries Science

The college is offering 4 yrs programme leading to the degree of B.F. Sc. (Bachelor in Fisheries Science). Out of the total intake of 10 seats, admission of 8 students is taken on the basis of the result of combined competition entrance examination conducted by Govt. of Bihar every year. Admission for rest 2 seats is taken under ICAR quota. ICAR itself conducts entrance examination on All India basis.

The course curriculum pertaining to various aspects of fisheries science and technology being followed is based on the recommendation of Dean's Committee with a total load of 162 credit hours, taught by 10 deptt. of the College, viz., Dept. of Fisheries Biology, Aquaculture, Aquatic Biology, Oceanography, Fishery Economics and Statistics Fishery Biochemistry, Fishery Microbiology, Fish Processing Technology, Fishery Engineering and Dept. of Fisheries Extension.
