Course programme

The college offers Number of PG and Graduate courses. Motilal Nehru College (Evening) established in july, 1965, is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It is situated on Benito Juarez Marg, adjacent to the South Campus of the University of Delhi. Apart from imparting education in various courses of study the college emphasizes character-building of the students and inculcates the values of responsible citizenship in them. The Various College student societies/ associations, play a vital role in the academic life of the institution These active departmental associations organize lectures, seminars and discussions for the benefit of student and teachers alike. The college also provides facilities for games like football, volleyball and badminton etc.. Numerous students of the college have won awards at the university, state and national level sports competitions. The college football team has performed well consistently and was crowned the university champion in the recent past.
No candidate will be qualified for admission to the University in the first year of the Degree Course unless he/she is seventeen years of age on or before the First of October, 2009.

The Vice-Chancellor may, on the basis of individual merit, relax the age limit up to a maximum period of one year after the candidate has been admitted by the college and the application is sent through the Principal of the College.

Not with standing anything contained in any other Ordinance no person, who has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, shall be admitted to a course of study or permitted to take any examination of the University until a period of two years has elapsed from the date of expiry of the sentence imposed on him or her.
