B Sc in Computer Science

In B Sc (Hons) Computer course, a three-year undergraduate programme, students are imparted knowledge about the concepts of software, hardware, programming and various theories related to computer science. They are also given practical knowledge about computers. Students are selected to this course on the basis of their marks in 10+2 level. After doing the course, one can opt for postgraduate course in either computer science and then PhD in the relevant subject or work either for an IT company, or as part of the IT support team for a company in another industry, i.e. finance, management, etc., after completing B Sc (Hons) Computer Science.
