B. Sc. (Environmental Design)

Environmental Design is a degree programme with monumental scope for the far-sighted student. By integrating physics, biology, geology, chemistry and social sciences you will partake in a comprehensive study of the natural environment on Earth. The theme of human influence on the natural environment and how our impact can be minimized are studied throughout the degree.
The course leads directly to professional jobs in design - within local government, private consultancies, education and research and central government. The work can be extremely varied, ranging from small-scale design to regional trends and from tree preservation to country parks. It takes you out of the office and involves meeting the public.
