B. Sc. (Honours) in Botany

This is a three year undergraduate degree course. Botany is the science of studying Plants. It encompasses a wide range of biological disciplines, including plants, algae and fungi. The course is all about studying the structure, growth, development, and metabolism of Plants. One can build his career in research organizations, herbal products companies, farm management organizations and biotechnology firms or one can pursue education at higher level of post graduation in Botany/ biotech/ plant biotech or agriculture science or an M.Phil in the subject.
