B.Sc (HONOURS) Chemistry

Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College obtained its affiliation from Calcutta University for undergraduate (pass) course in science in 1968-1969. It is a coeducational institution. The college introduced honours course in 1991-1992. From its early year, the college is improving both quality and standard of teaching.

To improve the teching standard, college has introduced a number of programmes like Orientation course, Refresher course, Workshops, Symposia etc. Department library is stocked with valuable and essential books for students and teachers respectively.
In addition to class room teaching, the college encourages students to take part in different co-curricular activities like Seminar Presentation, Submission of Annual Assignment, Group Discursion, Debate etc.
