The B.Sc (Hons.) in Information Technology is sepcially design to provides:
-The skills and knowledge to critically understand and apply appropriate strategies, techniques and technologies in the development of an information system.

-A critical understanding of planning techniques for strategic management of information systems in organizations.

-An understanding and application of techniques within a relevant information systems framework.
-The ability to synthesize and interpret systems models to produce relevant artifacts.

Terms I & II

Modules provide a platform for you as an IT professional in the areas of systems analysis and design, hardware, software systems, networks, problem-solving, and programming. In addition, a thorough grounding in principles of interactive computing and multimedia with emphasis on the Internet is provided. Modules such as Mathematics & Statistics provide the basic academic skills required. General understanding of the work environment and aspects of personal and organizational development are provided by other relevant modules. Important skills for independent learning are also introduced at this stage.

Terms III & IV

Students develop further in-depth computing skills through modules like Programming Concepts in C++, Object-Oriented Development with Java, Systems Development Methods, Hardware, Software Systems & Networks II, and Database & Web Database Systems. A common theme that underlies all awards is the development of innovative thinking through the Creativity & Innovation module. Also, a thorough understanding of how computing supports modern organizational activities are instilled by the Managing Business module. Specific computing technical skills are also developed at this level, with independent learning continuing in all modules but particularly focused in Research Methods.

Terms V & VI

Students complete term 5 & 6 at UCTI campus in Technology Park, Kualalampur, Malaysia. After the successful completion of the terms students come back to BMA campus for internships and final placements. Tuition fee for this transfer is included in the total fee and living expenses are similar to Bangalore. This ensures students obtain invaluable international exposure.

Students are further developed with technical skills and the ability to apply these skills with strong critical thinking and analysis. Personal and professional development is developed through the Project Management module.
