B.Sc. Nautical Science

Recognized by the DG of Shipping, Govt of India. which leads to second mates foreign-going certificates of competency rewarded by the D.G. Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Gov of India after 12 months of Sea Services. This helps the trainees to be Navigating Officer on board Merchant Navy Ship world-wide.
length: Three years or six modules in-house program
admission necessary for the program :
Age: candidates must not be less than twenty-five years at the time of beginning of the program
Eligibility:
Candidates must clear their 12th Standard or equal to it, with minimal sixty percent grades in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry groups & minimal fifty percent grades in English.
Clinical Fitness:
Candidates must be bodily fit for sea service under desired rules, with eyesight 6/6 in better eye, 6/9 in other eye & no color sightlessness.
