Every department is provided with state of the art modern laboratory equipments. College has sophisticated centralized Computer Center. In addition, each department is attached with a Computer Center with latest Desktops. Separate Internet Lab facilities are provided for the students, Modern CNC machines are also available to students for practice. All efforts are made to maintain high academic standards instilling confidence to face new challenges.

Civil Engineering provides the foundation for other branches of Engineering. Inspired by the words of the great Civil Engineer, Sir M Visvesvaraya that we must develop the life and capacity of our people by encouraging in them self-help, motivation for initiative, courage to change and create new things, a spirit of cooperation and capacity for organization; the Civil Engineering Department has made remarkable progress since its birth in 1980. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure and carries latest equipments in the laboratories to cater to its technical requirements. The department consists of competent and dedicated faculty members who play a vital role in moulding the students to achieve technical skills and knowledge. Civil Engineering students of this Institution have bagged ranks regularly at the University examinations, which is proof of the positive efforts of the Department.
The Department encourages participation of our faculty members in seminars, workshops etc to update their knowledge. Our faculty members are also regularly sponsored to attend refresher courses sponsored by AICTE and ISTE. Research and Development (R&D) activities are given utmost importance.

The students in our Department are intensively trained with focus on quality and discipline. Counselling and Guidance by our faculty members has helped students in solving their learning and personal problems. We are proud to say that some of our students have brought recognition and honour to the Department in the form of University ranks. Students also have secured prizes at the National Level competitions in fields like Design and Drawing Competitions, conducted by prestigious professional bodies like the Indian Institution of Engineers, AICTE. Extra-curricular activities such as Sports, Cultural Fest, Quiz competitions etc are regularly organized by the department association called "CONTINUA". Students also have participated in similar events held at various colleges and brought laurels to the Department by securing prizes.
