The Department of Civil Engineering at Dr.K.V.Subba Reddy Institute of Technology is a nourishing Department. It is a baby born i.e., 2009 one year back, with starting intake of sixty students per year.

The strength of the Department lies with its well qualified, skilled supporting staff, well established laboratories, excellent infrastructure and well disciplined and hard working students. Civil Engineering Department have a specific goal and vision developing the department into a full fledged learning centre for conceptual knowledge. The Department is very enthusiastic in producing technocrats with good qualities and have commitment and hard working, such that they can implement the knowledge acquired for the development of society by organizing workshops and seminars at various levels. Our students also enriched with good communication skills which is very essential for an engineer to expose himself at the competitive global level. Also our college encourages the students to produce various technical papers, and to participate Seminars at various Colleges. Their skills are being improved by involving them in practical and field work.
