The department of civil engineering was established during the academic year 2007-08, with an objective to impart quality technical education in civil engineering so as to produce the technocrats, who can strive to meet the ever growing infrastructure need of the country with humane approach. The Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization ( has explored many challenges and competition for each challenge has been upsurged. The department will explore the opportunities in this background & will strengthen its resources. At present the department is having two laboratories viz. Basic Civil Engineering & Engineering Mechanics, to take care of academic requirements for the first year Engineering. Eventhough the department is in inception stage but the department has the strength of quality experienced faculty who are committed to transform today's student into a technocrat of tomorrow imbibed with futuristic vision.
