The Department of CSE, MECRC has well-equipped labs, systematically arranged lecture theatres, and pretty good faculty cabins. The LAN arrangement is developed in the entire department, i.e., all the lab PC's and faculty PC's are in a network & thereby it provides a very good working ambience.
The Department of CSE has a separate well-equipped Project Lab that is mainly used for the purpose of major projects that the final year students have to develop in-house. Nearly all the Softwares required for the projects are installed on the systems so that the students could accomplish their projects without any need to search for anything outside the college premises.All the labs are frequently formatted so as to maintain a proper consistent and trouble-free environment.The Department of CSE also has the facility of LCD projectors,Coller Mikes, Laser Pointers etc. for the purpose of Final Presentations & Seminars, just to give the students a feel of a real platform that they will have to face once they leave the college and join the Corporate Sector.

The CSE Department is blessed with an able and experienced faculty that adds to the quality of education being imparted to the students.

The Department of CSE feels immense delight in launching the debut issue of its magazine rightly called as "AcuCom"-Capturing the Best. It is a melting pot of ideas, expressions, technical knowledge and plethora of other informative writings. "AcuCom" is the outcome of the smartwork of its editorial board "The Innovators"-What's Next!!

CSE department has formally inaugurated the student chapter of CSI in the college so that the students of CSE are well aware of the technical updates spawning throughout the nation. Promoting the associations with such organizations is a sure indicator of the vigilant and futuristic management team, that wants the betterment and continuous improvement of its students.Under such Organizations,the students are involved in many extra -curricular activities as technical presentations, quizzes, technical slogan writings,poster making etc.The overall advancement of any student needs a mixed blend of academic activities & extra -curriculars.
During the college annual week "Horizon-2008", CSE department organized a "Slogan Writing" & a "Technical College Making" under the leadership of "CSI Students Chapter" that is going to be the first step in the rightful direction.
