B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical Lab” the science of electrical engineering is based on few experimentally established fundamental laws which are taught in this lab. There is a study of various electrical equipments like transformers, energy meters, motors etc. and also electrical theorems like Thevenin’s Norton’s which are studied with kits available in this lab. The working & construction of single phase transformers, the testing and improvement of its efficiency is the lab’s function. 3 Phase supply and 3 Phase inductive load is followed by the testing of DC Shunt Motor by Hopkinton’s test & Shinbones test for which the DC motor generators set are available in this lab.
