The Department has well-developed laboratories of Electronic Circuits & Systems, Communication System. IC Design, Digital System and Microprocessors, Communication System and Networks, Signal and Image Processing, E-CAD, and a Research Laboratory. A microprocessor training-cum-development kits, good collection of more than 85000 books and 350 joumals in Institute Library covering all the areas of specializations help to enhance and harness the potential of students. For its consistent efforts the department isaccredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.

The course has excellent opportunity to expand its research programme in the modern areas of applied research to industries.
