B.Tech. Information Technology

This course offers a 4-year B-Tech degree programme in Information Technology, on asemester pattern from second semester to eighth semester, the first semester being common to all branches of Engineering. The students are trained in the areas of computer hardware and software engineering and communication.

The department has excellent infrastructure facilities to provide quality education and training in Information Technology.



The department organises a technical symposium called “ICON” to enrich student learning.

The students’ performance is assessed continuously through monthly tests, assignments and model examination and by a semester – end university examination.

All undergraduate students are encouraged to work on individual projects as well as group projects as per the university regulations.
