B.Tech in Information Technology

The Department of IT offers a B.Tech program in Information Technology and since its initiation in 2007 with an intake of 66 students per year. IT branch has attracted lot of young talents from the country to make a mark in this field. Information Technology has been the buzzword over the last decade. The department is developing vibrant team of young talented professionals to cater to the demands of dynamic and knowledge based world. The faculty of the department is energetic, qualified & experienced from various fields of respective industries. Department of IT has procured latest software of LATEX & Borland Jbuilder 4.0 Prof. for performing the IT lab & work shop in a successful manner.

VISION
The Department has a vision to provide the best quality education to the student community in various technologies related to the Information Technology industry which would help them to contribute to the already booming IT industry worldwide.

OBJECTIVES
Department will gear up to take the Research and Consultancy projects from Government and other organizations and have tie-ups with reputed industries.
The department has setup IT workshop lab which gives the student a clean view of the hardware configuration of system, servers etc. & installation of different systems with Fadora (Linux), Vista etc.
