B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering

The course prepares qualified mechanical engineers for manufacturing industries, power sectors, CAD/CAM and CAE fields. The department has grown gradually ever since with addition of several laboratories, library titles in the field and induction of many teaching and non teaching staff members. There are several laboratories fully equipped to train students as per the university curriculum. These are Materials Testing Laboratory, Foundry & Forging Laboratory, Metrology & Measurement Laboratory, CAD Laboratory, Basic Work Shop, Machine Shop, Fluid Power Laboratory and Energy Conversion Laboratory.
