B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has a long tradition of excellence in the Thermal, production science and has expanded its Design and Manufacturing programs. The Department is conducting value added courses Pro-E and Ansys under MOU with Doux System, Pondicherry resulting in increase in employment potential of our students. Placed close to the three Industrial Estates of Pondicherry and having amiable relation with all theindustries through our membership in CLL, our students have successfully implemented projects for such industries to solve problems that arise. Students majoring in Mechanical Engineering receive basic preparation and specialization through Project Works in the thrust areas of Low Cost Automation, CAD/CAM/CAE, Design of Jigs & Fixtures, etc. Utmost care and huge investment has been made in setting up the laboratories.
