COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL PRODUCTION LAB:

CNC lab consist of the latest automatic/computerized machineries which familiarizes the students with the modern trends in manufacturing field & factory automation.CNC programming classes are being conducted. Several CNC programming courses are offered here as a part of "CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHEME"

FLUID MECHANICS AND MACHINES LAB

Starting with fundamentals like standardization of gadgets, friction analysis, study of jets among other, students are taken through a thorough understanding of hydraulic machines with test rigs of Pelton, Kaplan and Francis turbines; centrifugal , reciprocating and gear pumps, hydraulic ram etc.

INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL LAB

Provides an introduction to instrumentation engineering with the focus on areas of industrial calibration, psychrometry and the like using advanced equipments like diesel exhaust smoke tester, ultrasonic flaw detector, profile projector etc.

PRODUCTION PROCESSES LABS

Augments the skills and understanding of machining processes using various types of lathes, shaping , grinding, planning, slotting, and milling machines along with the CNC systems together with sections like FOUNDRY SHOP, WELDING SHOP, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP and SHEET METAL SECTION.

THERMAL ENGINEERING LAB

Established the platform for launching students into the world of engines. Available facilities include test rigs for diesel and petrol engines, compressors, generators, refrigeration systems, hest exchangers besides instruments for analysis of conduction, convection and radiation.

COMPUTER LAB

The departmental computer lab is equipped with new generation PCs and accessories like printers, scanners..etc .This computer lab helps students co-ordinating their studies with the latest trends in software field and developing skills which are nowadays essential for the industry.
