Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Hons) Instrumentation

Instrumentation can be described as "the art and science of measurement and control. It is the technology of measurement that services not only physical, chemical and biological sciences; but also all branches of engineering and medicine. Our college offers a course on Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) Instrumentation whose rationale is to provide students theoretical and practical exposure of different instruments/ equipment. In B.A.Sc. (H) Instrumentation, the students are given complete know-how of various fields like Analytical and Biomedical Instruments. Software, Hardware and Assembly Programming are also included in the curriculum.

Instrumentation is a multifaceted advanced course, having a high degree of recognition in the modern industrialized world. The course finds application in all types of automated Industries. It imparts theoretical as well as practical knowledge of sophisticated instruments used in Biomedical, Nuclear, Analytical and Pharmaceutical fields. This course also finds application in Clinical Laboratories. Since the curriculum includes industrial exposure of the students through summer training, project work and various seminars, this professionally oriented course offers placement potential as well as eligibility for higher studies in Jiwaji University (Gwalior), Indian Institute of Sciences (Bangalore), Pune University, BITS Pilani, Devi Ahilya University (Indore), Jamia Hamdard University (Delhi) etc. The students can also opt for Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer application courses.
