AIMS & OBJECTIVES

1.1 In committed, competent and value based teachers who will instill in their
students a love for the multi-faceted traditions of our country and a striving
for excellence in whatever they do.
1.2 Provide a team of experienced and dedicated Faculty who can shape the
teachers of tomorrow to respond to the challenges facing secondary education
in India today.
1.3 Contribute to educational research by study, experimentation, publication and
advocacy with respect to the burning questions facing educational practice.
1.4 Provide comprehensive, flexible and up-to-date academic programmes through
which students will develop their competencies and provide educational
leadership to the wider community.
1.5 Establish and maintain a suitable environment and acquire appropriate
resources to facilitate continuing learning and research.
1.6 Provide leadership to the secondary schools in the Community through
seminars, workshops and in-service programmes in education.
1.7 Provide a wide range of associated educational programmes for the wider
community in areas of child care, guidance and career counseling,
environmental concerns and on going and continuing education.
