Bachelor of Law

LLB Course aim to provide detailed knowledge and understanding of legal rules and their contexts and to develop employability skills which will prepare you for a wide range of legal and non legal careers. You will also gain experience in practical legal research and problem solving.

Students who have completed the LLb, then go on to study either the Legal practice course in order to enter the profession as a solicitor, or the Bar vocational course. For the law subjects the bulk of your studies consists of work undertaken or your known initiative based on the reading lists provided to you.

The course is ideal basis for professional life whether a solicitor or barrister or in a wider commercial industrial or public service context. It will also equip you to access an academic career. We will develop your analytical skills, logic, creative thinking and problem solving as well as use of sound and effective arguments. This degree will be respected in the both professional and academic community. In this course you will know fundamental to a key legal subjects fundamental to a sound grasp of law.
