Bachelors in Biotechnology

You will learn how Biotechnology exploits the diversity of the microbial world in the production of drugs, food and the decontamination of our environment. Through a range of specialist modules including Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Biotechnology & Micro biotechnology you will address issues of direct relevance to the biotechnology sector. You will learn, for example, of the responses of the human immune system to invading bacteria and viruses and the exploitation of this knowledge by the pharmaceutical industry in the development of drugs, vaccines and diagnostic kits. The labs of Bio-Technology are tissue culture lab, Molecular biology Genetic Engg lab, fermentation & DSP lab, Emunology & Emunotechnology lab, Biochemistry & Enzyme technology lab, Microbiology lab, Environmental Technology lab. This programme is Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.
