BSc Nursing

The KVM Trust's KVM College of nursing offers BSc Nursing course to its students. It is Recognized by Govt. of Kerala, Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council and affiliated to Kerala University.

On completion of the course our students can:
Assess health status, identify nursing problems, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients that contribute to health of the individuals, families and communities.
Demonstrate competency in the skill and technique
Participate as members of the health team in the promotive, preventive & restorative health care delivery system of the country.
Demonstrate leadership quality & decision making abilities in various institutions.
Develop basic skills in nursing researches
Recognize the need for continued learning for personal and professional development
Demonstrate competency in teaching, management interpersonal relation & communication.
Contribute effectively as a responsible citizen and practice ethical values in their personal and professional life.

Only Indian citizens of Kerala Origin who have completed 17 years of age are eligible for admission.

Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination of the board of higher secondary education, Kerala or examinations equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together are eligible.
