Description
The academy is situated in district Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh at a distance of about 40 Kms from New Delhi Railway Station and nearly
75 Kms from Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is spread over 26.5 acres of lush green fields with covered area consisting of the Administrative, Academic, Hostel and Residential Blocks.
It started functioning on January 10, 1996. Over the years, it has emerged as a major police training institution and has made a mark at the national level. CBI's training infrastructure has further been expanded with the establishment of three Regional Training Centres (RTC) at Kolkata, Chennai & Mumbai. These RTCs have been equipped with modern training aids with an aim to maximise training outcome in a cost effective manner, by utilizing services of all the local resource persons.
