Certificate Course In Laboratory Techniques (CCLT)

The college has started a part time certificate course in laboratory technique in 2005-06. It has been observed that the basic knowledge regarding working in a laboratory is not included in any syllabus. This knowledge is necessary for a science student or worker in scientific laboratory. The course aims at imparting basic knowledge of working as an assistant in a Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Microbiology laboratory.
The college has grown in leaps and bounds in terms of student strength, courses, subjects offered and facilities etc. The college had an opportunity to endorse its standard and class through the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous institution of University Grants Commission, in 2004. The college received ‘A' grade in the assessment. This motivated the Principal and Faculty to march further which culminated in starting M.Sc. courses in Information Technology, Bio-Technology and Centre for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems.
