On the chest front there is limit to having 81 to 85 cms but for people from hilly areas and regions like J&K, Ladakh there is 5 cms relaxation. On the academic eligiblity all you need is a 10th pass or 10+2 from approved academic board in India. In the event of people from hilly areas and regions like J&K, Ladakh there is relaxation to 9th class. These sections include drivers, deceased sons, clerks and many more associated nomenclatures.On the physical standard front one must be in a position of Sound state of health, free from defect/deformity/disease, vision 6/12 without glasses both eyes, free from colour blindness. It is to be noted here that there is no such relaxation given in this aspect to any minority group nor people from hilly regions.

Sub-Inspector (Executive) Male- Applicants falling in the age bracket between 20 to 25 are eligible for taking this exams.The age band is stretched to 30 years for candidates belong to SC ST Community or from fields relating to sports events like cricket, football or any other sports event in the Sports Quota Category. Height factor in this exam is of 170 centimetres for general candidates but there are some provisions for students belonging to hilly areas. Their height is bended by 5 cms respectively. Head Constable (Ministerial)-Applicants falling in the age bracket between 18 to 21 are eligible for taking this exams .The age bracket is stretched to 26 years for candidates belong to SC ST Community or from fields relating to sports events like cricket, football or any other sports event in the Sports Quota Category.There is also provision for inducting ex-servicemen as per Appointment and Recruitment) rule, 1980. On the academic eligiblity all you need is a 10+2 in additon to having computing speed in the region of Speed in Typing i.e for English - 30 wpm and in hindi Hindi - 25 wpm.On the physical standard front one must be in a position of Sound state of health, free from defect/deformity/disease, vision 6/12 without glasses both eyes, free from colour blindness. It is to be noted here that there is no such relaxation given in this aspect to any minority group nor people from hilly regions.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer)-Applicants falling in the age bracket between 18 to 25 are eligible for taking this exams. The age limit is opened to be relaxed by 5 years and this is applicable from candidates belonging to SC ST Community. In this exam the academic qualification is that you should possess a graduate degree that too duly approved by AICTE Board in India. Preference is linked to areas where applicants possess knowledge of computers. They should be of sound mind and free from any physical or mental disorder.

Scheme of Examination: Here the exam will be packeted into two papers wherein Paper I where questions from the subjects related to Genral Intelligence, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude and the duration of the paper will be of 2 hours and the marks will of 400 marks. In Paper II subjects related to Hindi as well as English comprising of 100 marks each will be asked to the candidates.Other Information Regarding Plan of Examination: Note: Paper I will be of "Objective-Multiple-Choice Type" to be added in the total marks while determining the merit list.
