COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE

The DG of Civil Aviation, New Delhi takes the written exam at, Mumbai, New Delhi Calcutta and Chennai each 3 months beginning January of each year. The candidate has to clear in the following subjects:
1. Air-Regulation.
2. Air-Navigation
3. Aviation-Meteorology
4. Aircrafts & Engines (Ordinary & Special)
5. Radio Telephone (Oral & Practical) taken by Wireless and Planning Co-ordination Wing, New Delhi.

A student is required to have at least two hundred flying hours provided by Commercial Pilot License for five hours.
The learner has to undertake and clear all flying exams as offered by DG of Civil Aviation.
The issue of Commercial Pilot License is subject matter to a Medical Fitness Certificate provided by the Air Force Medical Board (Central Medical Institution, New Delhi or Institute of Aerospace Medicine, Bangalore).
Candidate must be at least eighteen years of age on the date of application for the attainment of Commercial Pilot License.
