Course programme
We offer common Entrance Test(CET)/COMED K coaching as:
Correspondence Program
Karnataka has the largest number of entrance seats to offer in India, and outstation students have a higher chance of getting through Karnataka CET/COMED, than their own home state entrance exams. Several students do well in their board exams, but are not able to perform the same in the Karnataka CET/COMED as they lack specialized training. There are several key differences between Karnataka CET/COMED and other states entrance exams. For these kind of exceptional candidates we offer Correspondence Programs with specialized course material. This course material is exactly the same as in the Main program and is sent to the student by post within a few weeks of registration. This is a very extensive course, with over 20 past year's papers, mock tests, chapter by chapter in every subject and at least three overall syllabus tests based on the latest Karnataka syllabus.
What is the COMED K?
For the part few years private medical, engineering and dental college have been conducting, a parallel entrance exam called the COMED K.The rules criteria and syllabus for this exam is similar to CET.The COMED K is conducted a few days prior to or after the CET. Any coaching undertaken for CET would be valid for COMED K. The Common Entrance Test is being conducted for the purpose of admission to full-time courses in Medical, Dental, Architectural and Engineering Courses in professional colleges within the state of Karnataka, in respect of the seats falling to the share of the State Government. The seats available in various professional colleges in the State of Karnataka have been in the first place, divided into free and payment seats and then shared between the managements and State Government. The payment seats are further sub-divided into Karnataka quota and Non-Karnataka.
Mode of Admission
In order to qualify for admission to any of the courses and colleges a student will have to face a Common Entrance Test which will be conducted by the Common Entrance Test Cell in 40 places, spread over Karnataka.
Eligibility For Admission To Non-Karnataka Quota Seats
A candidate who does not satisfy any of the conditions laid down for Karnataka quota seats will have the opportunity of availing a seat under Non-Karnataka quota. In the result sheets, Non-Karnataka candidates will be assigned ranks without ascertaining their academic eligibility. Mere assigning of rank does not confer a right to selection seat.Candidates, who have secured 50% or more in aggregate in PCM or PCB,as the case may be, in the Qualifying Examination are only eligible to participate in the seat selection process.
