Computer Use and Applications Training

Based on our experience with students we have identified the need for training inputs in three core areas. The centre conducts both short term (vacation) as well as long term (ongoing) training in these areas.

Computer Use and Applications:-

Most of our students reach the First Year Undergraduate level with little or no computer experience. The students have to be proficient in computers before they can access the centre's facility. Our Training and Development Officer conducts personalized computer courses based on the students' requirements. The focus of these courses is to train students to use the specialized software for the visually challenged, namely JAWS, Kurzweil and Magic; as well as to use MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet Explorer.
