Course in Discovering and Understanding India for Management

Course Objectives:

Main objectives of the course would be to:
- Discover and understand various institutions of ancient India
- Learn lessons for organising corporate and social life facilitating a degree of economic and social prosperity.
- Unveil the ancient Indian polity's perceptions, norms and modes of good and ethical governance.
- Acquaint participants with value-based integrated framework for sustainable development processes and rsource management.
- Help the participants to understand and appreciate the composite culture of India

Learning Method:

Lectures, discussions, screening of video films, assignments, group work, group presentations, guest lectures and project work will form part of the course.

Evaluation Process:

Evaluation will be done on the basis of mid-term examination, assignment, and project work and end-term examination.
