To shoot for a film is like to generate raw materials of a film, the edit table is where the film finds its final processed & packaged form. The art of editing, no longer an invisible art as it used to be, is perhaps the very heart of Film Making. The Editor is the one who makes the final judgment regarding what the viewers should see and what is not so important to include in the movie. The major responsibility of the editor is to edit a film in such a way that it does not hamper its continuity and spirit.
These days, different software's make it possible for editors to directly broadcast their work from their computers. Learners at the center are prepared to work as an editor and not just a machinist. Through practical experiences, they are offered the basic as well as
Students at Digital Academy are trained to be Editors and not mere machine machinist. Through hands-on practical training using FCP and Avid Express DV, they are taught the fundamental and artistic rules of film and small screen editing.
This course can be completed in 100 sessions within six months. Extra theoretical classes will be held on all Sundays
