Course in Fine Arts (Painting) for Beginners

The duration of the course is two-years. The classes are held on Tuesday and Friday in a week. Minimum age requirement is five-years. The classes are taken by Mrs. Nitin Mazumdar.
There are two level of this course:
Prarambhik Part-I
Theory:
• Basic Knowledge of Definitions
• Free Hand Drawing
• Principles related to drawing
• Various-Colors
• Natural colors
• Different Geometrical Shapes
Practical:
• Study of nature: flora, fauna and animals, fruits and vegetables, etc
• 3D objects
• Applications related to free hand drawings
• Floral-designs
Prarambhik Part-II
Theory:
• Primary-secondary-tertiary colours
• Basic colours
• 10-basics of secondary-tertiary colours.
• Anatomical structure of different animals
• Biography of any famous sculptures in India(any 4)
Definitions:- Landscape, lines,Balance,Form, Art.
• Relative learning of Oil, Water & Crayon colours.
• Elements and Principles of Art.
• Importance of Art in our daily lives.
Practical:
• Motionless life making consisting of 2 to 3 objects.
• Outside Sketching: Flora, Fauna, and Animals etc.
• Fruit-Vegetable study.
• Leaf-Flower Study.
• Geometrical-Designs.
• Earlier years contents are also included in this syllabus
