Course in Global Studies Programme

The Centre has developed a special collaborative programme with Institute for Sociology, Albert Ludwigs, University, (Freiburg, Germany), and Kwazulu Natal University (Durban, South Africa). The eighth batch of GSP arrived in January 2010 It includes 24 students from 17 countries. The countries include Argentina, Latavia, USA, Italy, Russia, Canada, Cyprus, India, Spain, Finland, Malaysia, Turkey, Botswana, Denmark, Poland. The Global Studies Programme organized an Orientations Programme on 6th January 2010. The students of the eight batch (2010) of the GSP were sent for field visit to Varanasi, Sarnath and surroundings on 13th to 14th March 2010 to conduct fieldwork.
