Course programme

The Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security programme is a part of CCNA Security certification.

Eligibility

For getting admission in the IINS programme, students must have a valid certificate in ICND1 & ICND2 & CCNA.

Programme Outlines

Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security programme is a 5 days programme. The main concentration is on security measures & their effects on the position of the network.
Students will be in a position to explain and execute basic work to ensure the safety of office network with the help of
Cisco IOS safety measures useable through web-based GUIs SDM & CLI on Cisco route & switches.

It is divided into different lessons. In lesson 1, students learn about Network Security Principles
Lesson 2 comprises of Perimeter safety

Lesson 3 describes about the safety of Network with the help of Cisco IOS Firewalls

Lesson 4 describes about Site-to-Site VPNs

Lesson 5 is about safety of Networks with the help of Cisco IOS IPS

Lesson 6 is all about LAN, SAN, Voice & safety measures of Endpoint

By the end of the course, students are expected to assemble and evolve network safety measures against the attacks, assembling site-to-site VPNs with the help of Cisco IOS, assembling IPS on Cisco network route, to configure LAN for controlling control access, protesting threats, protecting other networks etc
