Course in Oracle 9i: Programme with PL/SQL (Paper 2)

Procedural Language/SQL (PL/SQL) extends SQL by adding constructs found in procedural languages, resulting in a structural language that is more powerful than SQL. This paper introduces students to PL/SQL and helps them understand the benefits of this powerful programming language. By the end of this segment, students will be able to create PL/SQL blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports, and data management applications. The students will also learn to create procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers.
