Salsa is an extremely famous dance type in Latin America, the US, and Europe. The dance & music created mainly in New York City in the late 1960's. Its name is taken from the Spanish-word for "hot-sauce". Salsa is a combination of different fundamentals: Rhumba, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Mambo along with other Latin forms of dance such as Afro Cuban, Puerto-Rican, Dominican, and other Latin American strain.
The novice Salsa class initiates the person to the tempo and timing of the music, along with the technique in leading and following. The candidate will study basic foot-work, dance arrangements, and linking among partners. The institute will educate the learner with simple & fun dance arrangements that comprise solitary right turns, sole left turn, cross-body leads, back breaks (Cumbia), and females 1 ½ right and left turnings. No dance experiences are needed.
Introduction to level-2
This session is a preface to the Salsa Level-2. In this session the institute chiefly cover method in leading and subsequent along with dance arrangements that incorporates crossing of body leads and females half turns; it will be extremely alike to the last four weeks of a Salsa Level-1 series. The only need to join this session is that the learner has to take a complete Salsa Level-1 series at least once. This session is taught as a four-week series program.
The novice or Intermediate Salsa session will assist the person building upon the fundamentals studied in Level-1. The learner will be prolonged to easy alterations and arrangements to supplement the dancing. The only condition to connect in on the above said class is that the candidate has taken a whole Salsa Level-1 series at least once or by teacher’s approval.
In the Higher level Salsa class the candidate will study more complicated modulations, arrangements, syncopated-footwork, double turns, 2 ½ turns along with males and female's styling. Arrangements studied in this session will not be replicated again.
