Course programme

Balancing the creative and the technical, audio education program at ZIMA, is as unique as each student. Students are trained for more broad-based audio world such as audio, video and multimedia. The need for engineers has increased; it's just not in studios anymore. It's also in the radio stations, production houses of TV programs, the post-production Studios, the Web authoring services, the CD-ROM publishers. The job market has diversified and jobs just don't exist in their traditional forms.
At ZIMA we believe that educating students about core skills is still essential, while new technologies have resulted in evolving the curriculum. To that end, theory lectures and technical demonstrations held in ZIMA classes are immediately followed by sessions in the recording studio, in support of those classes. The course is a systematic process beginning at fundamental levels. Concepts and skills development, accumulate and refine until, within nine months, students are competently operating our recording facilities and essentially picking up the responsibility of creating complete sound tracks for the student films made at ZIMA.
