The institute firmly believes that music is divine. Carnatic music is an antique type of music tracing its originality to 4th - 5th century. The common elements of śrutii, swar, rāgas, and talas form the establishment of managing and composing in Carnatic music. There are number of ragas and talas along with their mixture one can sing diverse composition. The chief ragas are Shankarabharanam, Mohannam, Aarabhi, Hindolam, Kamsas. The major tals are Adi, rupakamm, dhruv, trioota, jhampaa, matyaa. Although improvisations play an essential role, Carnatic music is chiefly sung in the course of compositions, particularly the kritii or kirtanaam;
Teaching is imparted on voice tone and intonation. Teachers belong to a family of musicians and have been energetically occupied in educating this art form for the last fifteen years. The duration of the program is from basic level to advance level.
