This semester emphasizes on front-end or web designing techniques. The web design will develop the skills and knowledge for 'front-end' online publishing. Students will gain knowledge of screen based communication and work flows in various industry applications. The program will cover interface design, rich media design, online brand creation and graphics optimization.

Web Graphics module I

In this module, we will discuss about geometric design order. It is a necessary element in all design and a complement to creativity. It explores creative applications for a geometrical approach to page composition. Classic proportional systems are explored, including such as the golden section, golden spiral, Fibonacci sequence, root 2 rectangle, and the rule of thirds. You'll also investigate how to use lines and shapes as graphic elements to create a sense of order. Lines, curves, circles, angles, bars and squares, and patterns are all explored as possible tools for structuring a layout. The lesson concludes with a discussion on the importance of balance, negative space, and strong focal points. In the exercise, you'll apply these principles to a web template or a web header. Dynamic website is a very common word. This semester covers everything that is required to create a fully dynamic website. Collaborative Project

Students will have to work with client side projects/ live projects and will have a degree of flexibility in choosing the orientation of their project. Students will work as a team and will be jointly responsible for the planning, conduct and outcome of the project, under the supervision of a member of staff acting as a guide. The project will be a significantly-sized production, with the objective of producing an output reflecting a real world need, together with accompanying documentation.
